May 15, 2012 TUESDAY

I know I haven't wrote my journal for a long time now because I decided not to... But today I had the urge to go on blogger and write something to share with my classmates, teachers, or anyone. So... there are exactly 20 more days of school (not including weekends), well, I would say I am happy and sad because I am very excited about moving to Canada and going to a new school, but I'm sad to leave my only current friend that I've known for 5 years, Phoebe. I have never had a friend longer than 2 years, so to me, Phoebe is my best friend. I'm going to miss everyone here in Taiwan, but soon I will forget everyone with only Phoebe remaining in my heart. Maybe she's got nothing in common with me, her passion for sports and my passion for arts... But since my family had been moving around, leaving this place, leaving that place, I have also lost my few best friends from local schools and from the states... So when I leave Taiwan, my best friends list of 1 will become 0. I will miss you Phoebe... And please don't tell me that you feel awkward now because I also feel awkward. <3

February 16, 2012 THURSDAY

Today we had tacos for lunch at school!!! I love Ms. Padachie, she ordered our class tacos, burritos, and nachos & cheese. Although I didn't finish everything, I didn't have much left either. I had a few pieces of nachos that I brought home today. But sadly, it was already cold and not as tasty as it was at school when I arrived home today. Anyways, our lunch today was AWESOME!!! And for the first time in a long while, my tummy felt happy during lunch! Today we barely got any homework that's due tomorrow, so I'm really happy because I can do the other homework due next week before hand, read, and sleep. I usually do my journal later at about 9:00 ~ 9:30, but today I did it really early because I don't have any other homework that are due tomorrow. I AM SO HAPPY!!! But I don't know why. Anyways, I plan on joining the girls basketball team because I really like basketball, my leg is healed but it's very weak and needs some harsh training, my friends also want to join with me, and I need to exercise to get healthier. So... I will write some things about my basketball practice if I join in the future days...

February 15, 2012 WEDNESDAY

Last night I slept at about 12:30, which is awfully late for me, so today at school, I was terribly tired. During homeroom time, I lied on Ms. Padachie's mat placed on the ground until the bell rang. After lunch, I also went to Ms. Padachie's room to lie down. I'm so tired today... I keep saying that I want to sleep early these days, but I keep sleeping later and later because I couldn't get my homework done. Anyways, today I finished my homework early and today I am REALLY going to sleep early tonight... I mean... REALLY this time. These days A LOT of people to our school are sick. Some of them come to school anyways, and some stay home. And I am afraid that I will also get sick soon because we have 3 people in our class that is sick and I usually get sick when I don't have enough sleep. So to prevent myself from also getting sick, I will go get a good night sleep and hope everyone sick gets well.

February 14, 2012 TUESDAY

Today was valentines day, and since i didn't prepare anything for my mom yesterday, I used vivian's papers to make a simple card in school to give to my mom when I go home. My card turned out okay, I did it fast... so it wasn't as good as it could have been if i had time. Anyways, my mom liked it, but since I think she's come to expect gifts every event and holiday, she isn't very surprised and really happy. People say valentines day is only for boys and girls but no, I think it's also for friends, parents, and people that you want to thank. I don't know... that's just my opinion. We had another half of fitness test today, there was shuttle test, pull ups, and diggings. I couldn't run, so I didn't do the shuttle test, but I still did the pull ups and diggings. After the fitness test, my foot hurted a little and it felt weird, I didn't like that feeling, but it wasn't really too bad. I think it should be all really really completely healed by the day after tomorrow. (However, I really hope that it can be completely healed by tomorrow because I haven't ran in a while and I feel I need to run. (weird, but I'm telling the truth. My friends also might think it's wired because they know that I hate running.)......... :) :) :) PEACE OUT!

February 13, 2012 MONDAY

Today I woke up and my legs were really sore from yesterday's horseback riding because I haven't exercised and went horse back riding in a long long time. Anyways, it really hurts today, and I didn't enjoy it. I was really tired this morning from sleeping at 12 last night, which is really really late for me. I usually sleep at about 10:00, but sometimes about 10:00~10:30. I plan to finish my homework early today and go get a good night sleep on my comfy bed. Guess what? Tomorrow is valentines day!!! And I still have no idea of what to give my love, otherwise known as my parents. I planned at first to write a poem today, but while I was half way, I got stuck so I deleted the whole thing and plan to do it tomorrow and give it to my mom at night... I had started giving my mom presents and cards since I started to learn about these hoildays like birthdays, christmas, valentines day... And since then, I haven't missed any gift giving holidays/events for giving my parents gifts. But now I think they've come to expect a gift every holiday because I always give them gifts. Sometimes I bake cookies, sometimes I made cards, sometimes I did some paper crafts, sometimes I drew pictures, sometimes I wrote poems, and once I gave my mom a necklace that I bought with my red envelope money.

THIS TIME I'M IN TROUBLE BECAUSE I CAN'T THINK OF WHAT TO GIVE MY PARENTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *sad face

February 12, 2012 SUNDAY

Today I went horse back riding, I haven't went to ride for a long time. I had a fight with Phoebe during the weekends on Skype. I was angry. She was angry. Now we're back to normal. All I know is that only best friends fight, because I wouldn't go around and start arguing and fighting with a stranger that I don't know. Anyways, I woke up 6:30 this morning to go horse back riding. I needed about a minute to get back the feeling and waves on the horse. But it turned out good, but not as good as before. My right leg is weaker, and it's now harder to stand up on the horse for me now without the pedals to step on. I use to do it easily because I go horseback riding nearly everyday, and my legs were stronger. I liked my class today, I decided to go back to horseback riding now because I decided that my leg was really weak and it needed some training to get back to normal, and I look forward to my next horseback riding lesson.

February 9, 2012 THURSDAY

Today was science fair... before presenting, I kept practicing my presentation, again and again, and again and again. Then the judges came, I thought I did everything pretty nice, and I didn't mess up or forget to say something during the presentation. Anyways, this project took a lot of effort, a lot of patience, a lot of time, and a lot of energy. I really enjoyed doing this project because I learned all this cool things that I never knew before. However, I didn't win a prize, which was a little bit disappointing because I've really spent a lot of time figuring out what type of transparent filtering color papers to use, and checking if my results matched up. I did the experiments again and again, trying to get things right. Anyways, I really used a lot of effort and time in this project, I first learned all about the color space, then I asked my dad to test me on the topic, after that I did experiments and experiments. I made the model of a dark room again and again. First, it was too small and week, then, the experiment didn't work because room lights got emitted into the dark room. And today, a lot of people asked me to explain my experiment, and I did so 6 full presentations for different groups of people, and answered a lot of other random individual questions, well, people seemed to like it although I got all sweaty and thirsty after all that, so I started wandering around the school to prevent more people from asking me questions and asking me to present. Anyways, although I am a little disappointed about not getting a prize, I'm glad that the audience liked it, and I am really glad that I learned a lot in this Science Fair project. And I mean... A LOT...

February 8, 2012 WEDNESDAY

Last night I had a nightmare, I dreamed that when science fair arrived, not a word came out of my mouth when I tried to speak in front of the judges, it was scary... I'm glad that it's not true, but I don't know if it won't be true. So... I'll hope for the best and prepare for the worst. today instead of Speech and Debate, we had music class. Anyways, music class was okay, we made a poster about the Romantic era and it was supposed to be worth 20% of our grade. I didn't really enjoy doing the poster, but it wasn't too bad.

After school today, everyone started carrying the wooden science fair boards around the school to where they want to display their science fair projects at. Anyways, I didn't need a board, so I didn't have to carry that heavy board to where I wanted it to be. However, there's also a disadvantage to having no need of boards. And that is because I won't have as much choices for where I want to put my board... But I don't mind that much actually.

February 7, 2011 TUESDAY

Today was my friend Phoebe's birthday, and I actually forgot about it... I planned to give her a present a while ago, but completely forgot about it when her birthday actually arrived. Anyways, that was quite embarrassing because I've known her quite a long time, and I still forgot...

Today it rained outside, and we didn't have PE, instead, we stayed in the auditorium and watched The Pirates of Caribbean 4. I watched it before but it was still good the second time. We were going to have fitness test today, but it was wet outside, and plus, if it wasn't raining outside, I would still not be able to take the fitness test because my foot it still not completely healed and I can only walk slowly.

Science fair's coming up close, in 2 days, or about 1 day I should say, it's science fair!!! And guess what? I AM STILL NOT READY... AND I AM WORRIED AND SCARED AND NERVOUS AND SHOCKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyways, I need to go work on my science fair project... BYE BYE!

February 5, 2011 SUNDAY

I woke up really early today to go to my dad's company's trip. I feel sad that I've came to my dad's company's trip because I will miss the class speech and debate on Monday. I'm sad... However, I'm also happy because the trip had been awesome from the start in the early morning. We first went to Yang - Ming - Shan Park, then to an awesome restaurant that seemed like heaven, then to a dead - volcano where we saw yellow gooey stuff and smelled funny things, after that, we went to Shan - hsia old street, it was fantastic! I bought a croissant ice cream, I know it sounds weird, but yes, it's an ice cream where croissants replace the ice cream cones... So there you go, a croissant ice cream. After that we went to our hotel and got ready for dinner. I couldn't believe my eyes when I stepped into our hotel room. It seemed like a real "house" in the woods, there was a living room, a dinning table, two rooms with two beds each and a bathroom in both bedrooms, there were also 3 TV', one in the living room, and one in each bedroom. It seemed like heaven, but we could only stay there one night. Anyways, during dinner tonight, I performed two violin pieces, and dressed up as half terminator and half Edward Scissorhands. We played a lot of games but lost a game a got punished by being forced to drink a jar of pure lemon juice without sugar, honey, water, or soda. My team and I together had to finish that jar of extremely sour lemonade in 1 minute, or else there would be another punishment. I finished 1 and a half cup of lemonade in time with my team, but soon had a stomach ache that I almost couldn't bare. However, later in the second game where we used chopsticks to carry green beans to a tray across the stage, my team won, and the opposing team had to eat hot chillies!!! I loved my day spent here in Taipei, and I look forward to tomorrow's activity.

February 6, 2011 MONDAY

I woke up early this morning to go hiking in the woods with my family using my crutch now and then. It was a lot of fun, my brother and I saw a mantis with a huge belly, and we thought that it was a pregnant mama…  Anyways, that morning we hiked around, went to SPA naked with my mom because we lost a bet on which group would win the most votes for the best performance from last night, that’s why… However, it might have seemed like a punishment for the people against my mom and me but I really enjoyed being in that spacious tub with my mom. There were about 4 tubs I think, and four old ladies in a tub, most of the kids in another tub, a few other people in the furthest away tub, and only my mom and I in the one of the tubs. It was really steamy and foggy in that place, which I thought was good because no one could see each other. Anyways, it didn’t seem like a punishment to me because I had a time where I get to spend time alone with mom without my brother bothering us.

After we got out, we put on our clothes and got on the bus to go to lunch. Lunch was fantabulus… we had all these cool types of fishes… Chewy kinds, soft kinds, crunchy ones, salty ones, spicy ones, and a few other fishes with no bones. We were all very full my then after the feast, so we laid in the bus and watched one and a half movie. However, there’s always an end to a trip, so we got back home, and ended our day with a simple dinner after all the feasts during the trip.

February 2, 2012 THURSDAY

Ms. Liu is awesome. She showed me today a yellow "shadow", a red "shadow", and a blue "shadow". I didn't know why, it seemed so amazing and it seemed like magic before she told me how she got the colorful shadows, and I was shocked... It's really easy, and my mystery was solved. Science class was really cool today. Other than that... today was an ordinary school day. But Ms. Ru wasn't at school today so we had a substitute. So during Expository Writing today, we just typed a story, and 3 poems... BORING... Well, club was awesome! It was my first time in the Sci-Fi club, and I absolutely loved it. In that club, we just simply sit down in a comfy chair, and watch the TV series Stargate. The series wasn't awesome, but it was pretty nice. The good thing about this club though, is that you get to sit in the only room where there are comfy spinning chairs, unlike the other rooms which all has really hard un-spinable chairs... Anyways, I enjoyed watching Stargate, and I really enjoyed sitting in a comfy chair in the whole class. :) :) :)

February 1, 2012 WEDNESDAY

Today was a cool day at school, I enjoyed art class pretty much since I liked the cartoon tiger that I drew on my art portfolio. I drew an orange tiger with a huge head, tiny body, huge tail, big eyeballs, huge drooling mouth, a few golden teeth, a few missing teeth, some tidy black strips, extended jaw, and funny body shape. I enjoyed drawing in art today a lot... And... other than that everything was just as normal as my regular school life. Also, something super super exciting happened in the morning... I received my email, the email that lets me free from a cage... Okay that was a little exaggerated but I am really really happy.

January 31, 2012 TUESDAY

Today is the last day of January, and I'm finally back for doing my blog! I haven't done a blog in a while, and I'm starting it again. YAY! Anyways, today was almost a normal day at school, all is normal except for two things. First, people keep asking me about the bandage I had just below my lip today. My classmates and teachers all asked me what happened. And guess what? I had my mole below my bottom lip removed due to my parents' decisions. Yesterday at dawn I heard that we didn't have school on Monday, I went to my mom and told her "Mom! There's no school tomorrow!". And after she had made sure that we didn't have school on Monday, my mom and dad said to me "Let's go remove your mole tomorrow on Monday then...". And I didn't really care about having a mole there or having no mole there, so I said "okay, sure, whatever...". I kind of thought I shouldn't have said "okay, sure, whatever..." to my parents when the doctor guy started sticking a needle into my mole and sending electricity through it so it can burn my mole and make it disappear. Do you know why? Well, it's because it hurted! Although it didn't hurt really bad like how it hurted when I fell on a stone stair and skinned the whole front part of my left leg knees and down, it hurted more than most things, and a little less than getting skinned. Anyways, getting back to the topic, there's not much more to talk about... But yes, the second unusual thing that happened today was that there were two new students and one was a girl! We haven't had a lot of new students in our class for quite a while, especially a girl. Since in our class, we only had 3 girls before our new girl from Korea came to our class.
